Artistic Inspirations

Nigel Barker

I chose Mr. Barker simply because this picture takes my mind behind the gates shown.

This painting was produced from the Harlem Renaissance Era. This is a vivid depiction of an African American family. I enjoy the realism of this painting.

Tracy M looking down at the camera as I shoot up the wall to get this down low (birds eye view) portrait of her and the wall. You can see a bit of colorful lens flare from some backlighting from the sunlight.

Graffiti is definitely in its own artistic category. Chris Keeney used the photo method "angling up" very well.  Graffiti is the one of the most direct forms of self expression, I love it to pieces.

Cityscapes captures the essence of that city in the purest form in my eyes. I believe Rolf Hicker captured evening life at its finest. Also the picture quality is just amazing.

Joshua © Anne Geddes

This photo is so amazing to me. I believe Anne captured infant purity and all his innocence.
