Meet Laylla pronounced Layla. She's an awesome model and I had a great time shoooting her. She"s a third grader and this is her "just came from school" look. I actually ran to her as soon as she got off the bus and asked her to pose! She dropped her backpack and we used natural sunlight to create this masterpiece. I"m very pleased with my results.
When creating this Hockney piece I wanted a collage that looked strikenly different from everyone esles. So I waited till the sun went down to really put my photographing skills to the test. I set my camera to night mode and began taking pictures of my front lawn persay at NIGHT. I beleve I created a realistic replica.
I'm interested in both your images. Your portrait is well lit and I love that you attempted night photography as well. Not easy for a beginner photographer. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into this assignment. I am looking forward to what you will come up with next!
